Notes - Smartt, Mrs. Sara King Southern Standard McMinnville,TN July 17, 1952 pg 8 Rites Held For Mrs. Sara Smartt Funeral Services for Mrs. Sara King Smartt, wife of Warren Smartt, were held Sunday mroning at 10 o`clock at Philidelphia cemetery. Mrs. Smartt, 67, died at her home at Beersheba Springs Wednesday afternoon at 5:20 o`clock, following an illness of a week. A native of Warren county, Mrs. Smartt was a daughter of Jasper King and Lucinda King and she was a member of the Baptist church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Loren Smartt, and a daughter, Mrs. Marilda Melton, Beersheba Springs; three brothers, Katter King and R. G. King, McMinnville, and Venus King, Beersheba. Also two sisters, Mrs. Frances Gross and Mrs. Pearl Tate, Tarlton. Arrangements were by Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
