- Isaac Beverly Fugate's son Ferdinand Joseph Colbert removed to Texas County, Missouri in the late 1880's. In 1891 his son Isaac Beverly also moved to Texas County, arriving by train. They homesteaded 160 acres on the headwaters of Hog Creek 1 1/2 miles from the Stultz school, post office and general store. They farmed the homestead until the mid 1920's when they retired to a home
near the Stultz general store which they operated until it was closed in 1931.
