  A graduate of Sequatchie County High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University. After leaving college, she was employeed at a bakery in Detroi, Michigan. While there, she met and married Randall. Cynithia, their only child, was born in Detroit. Betty and Randall moved back to Daus and were active in the Community Baptist Church. Employeed as a secretary in Chattanooga, TN.
