ClipFiler
Long long ago, I wrote a little trinket for the Mac OS called ClipFiler. ClipFiler was an FKEY that you installed that would grab whatever text you had highlited in whatever application you had running and copied that text and placed in a file called “clippings” on your desktop. That’s a slight simplification, but that was basically what it did. So anyway, today I was boppin’ around the net when I stumbled across this page mentioning ClipFiler.
Here’s a snippet: So anyway, I have a file on my desk called “clippings”. If it wasn’t there in the first place, it gets made automagically. In there the FKey instantly saves whatever I have highlighted! Christ, It’s too early to be trying to explain how marvelous this damn little thing is, so go to the enclosed Anarchie bookmark and read the read me.
Made me smile. Something I wrote so long ago and people loved it. Very cool. The concept wasn’t mine however, it was this guy’s. Thanks Florian.
That is way cool. Way to go Casey!
I’ll have to agree with Jen!
