Sue decided the other day to check out Old Yeller from the library so her and my 6 year old daughter Alex could watch it together. I raised an eyebrow and suspected I’d be consoling my daughter about poor Old Yeller after she watched it.

Well, today they finally did. And when it got to the end there wasn’t much reaction from Alex. Susie asked her, “Alex do you understand what happened”.
“Yeah”, Alex replied, “they had to kill him”.
She continued matter of factly, “He turned into a bad dog and got into a fight”.

Good thing JoJo has his rabies shots.
