Government drones

So, my wife pops on Yahoo Messenger this afternoon to inform me that she is furious at the people at Alexandria’s school cafeteria. Alex took $2.00 to school to eat lunch today. Lunch is supposedly $1.50 and ice cream $0.40. So, Alex gets her ice cream but the cafeteria attendant made her put the ice cream back because she owes the school $0.80. Eighty cents! We think that maybe milk isn’t included in the cost of lunch and that may be $0.25 extra and maybe that’s where the discrepancy is. But come on! Making a sweet little 6 year old girl put her ice cream back because of a $0.80 discrepancy while all of the other children eat theirs? Have a freakin’ heart. It’s $0.80! It’s not going to break the bank and I swear I’m good for it. I pay thousands and thousands of dollars in year in federal, state, county and city taxes, of which a large portion is used to fund that school. Not to mention all the extra supplies that my wife has purchased and donated to Mrs. Nance’s 1st grade class. But you guys can’t lend my daughter a measly eighty cents!?
